Sendleap is an application that allows you to send or receive text or multimedia messages in deepin using your desktop or laptop using your Android phone. Many Linux users use the indicator-kdeconnect applicationto do the same, which is available in our alternativeDeepines 2.0 repository , but at least this App has always seemed a bit rudimentary to me, which is why I show you this excellent alternative .

In just seconds you can download and configure SendLeap to send and receive SMS or MMS. but you must first install SendLeap on your Android device and link it to your Google account. Once installed on your mobile and in deepin you can start sending and receiving texts from it.

It is very important that when entering in SendLeap in deepin you use exactly the same password that you used in the App of your mobile, otherwise you will not be able to read the messages since they are encrypted.

SendLeap also contains all the features you would expect from a messaging application such as emojis and the possibility of sending photos from your desktop, for example. SendLeap synchronizes your messages with those of your mobile regardless of whether you use the default text application on your phone or another, it works the same in both ways.

sudo apt install sendleap
