I was playing around with nvidia-xserver that came with the latest driver and it lead to a black screen. I've removed the driver and removed the config files in X11 and modprobe.d.  The gui still isn't loading. I can use ctrl+alt+F2-6 and access the shell. Can someone help me reset the dispaly driver and xorg?? And I did purge the old nvidia driver before installing the new driver.
