    Window effect disabled within 10 seconds after enable. Is there any way to enable it permanently?

    I have this problem too, but it only happens when I use proprietary video drivers, when I use the open source driver it works but doesn't have the perfomance as proprietary drivers.

    What do you mean by proprietary video driver? I do not use any other video driver.
