Hi Guys

New to the community.

I have been trying to update from Deepin 15.4.1 to 15.5 but I keep getting:

"E: Could not get lock /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock directory /var/lib/apt/lists/"

I have changed to several Mirrors but the error is the same. Do I have to download 15.5 to install or is there another way to upgrade - or is this just the way it is? Not in the mood to download the new release when I have my system setup.

Thank you in advance!

Never Mind.

After reading some of the discussions about 15.5, I'll wait for 15.5.1 to be released.

Thank you

remove the lockfile using the root privilege: `sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/lock`

If you find lockfile also on 'dpkg' later, remove that lock to and run `dpkg --configure -a`
