If you do a clean installation of Deepin 15.5 now, and then try to access network shares/drives, you are unable to, it keeps asking for username/password eventhough it is being typed correctly, several people in our community has experimented this including myself.

I'm %150 sure I'm inputting the correct information.

I've got a fresh 15.5 install on 2 pc's and neither has this issue.  The only network share that I have though is a Buffalo NAS drive.  When I try to browse it I get a login screen but I just click "anonymous login" with no user& pw and it opens right up.  Do you get the option for an anonymous login, and if so, have you tried that?

How could you say you don't have this issue while describing "anonymous login" as your method to access them? I don't use that because my shares are protected with username/password. Go try setting up A username and password then tell me your story.

Sorry, just trying to help.   Like I said "The only network share that I have though is a Buffalo NAS drive." which doesn't require a username & pw.  No more story here.......
