I am brand new on Deepin, just installed it today.

It is updated fully, downloaded and installed just under 700 MB of updates hour ago.

Ran update and full-upgrade check in terminal, both say its latest version. Also Google search pointed me to Tweet on Deepin Twitter to run lastore-daemon, so did that as well, these are ressults:
sudo apt-get update
Get:1 http://mirrors.kernel.org/deepin panda InRelease [11.4 kB]
Get:2 https://repo.skype.com/deb stable InRelease [4,486 B]
Get:3 http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease [3,302 B]
Get:4 http://mirrors.kernel.org/deepin panda/non-free Sources [224 kB]
Get:5 https://repo.skype.com/deb stable/main amd64 Packages [2,251 B]
Get:6 http://repository.spotify.com stable/non-free amd64 Packages [1,606 B]
Get:7 http://repository.spotify.com stable/non-free i386 Packages [1,152 B]
Get:8 http://mirrors.kernel.org/deepin panda/contrib Sources [97.1 kB]
Get:9 http://mirrors.kernel.org/deepin panda/main Sources [12.4 MB]
Fetched 12.8 MB in 9s (1,409 kB/s)

sudo apt-get install lastore-daemon deepin-appstore deepin-appstore-data

Put simply, no matter what I try to install through Deepin Store, it comes back as failed right away. Deepin Store was a major plus to trying this distro, so it really bugs me that it does not work.

Any ideas?

are you able to install something, which is available in store, through apt-get in terminal?

Go to control center, then to updates, run a test of available mirrors, select the one which stay in top, and try again.

I've tried both. Installing random software, like Firefox, and changing mirrors, both through Control Center, and by manually editing .list (which was empty to begin with). Nothing worked.
