    Hi,
    I've noticed that deepin-menu is very slow while scrolling in fullscreen mode.
    Observed this unplesant, sluggish behaviour on my both machines (i7+GTX1080+nVidia driver and i3+GF800m+Intel driver).
    Is this a known "defect" or is it just my hardware?

    Fullscreen mode? And what do you mean deepin menu?

    Let me show what I mean...

    menu sluggishness is almost the same on my computer. But my hardware are all in the lower end. Loongson 1.5GHz CPU, r5 230 256M video card. i7 should do much better

    看3楼和4楼说的应该就是那个把鼠标移到屏幕左上角出现的菜单了，这东西叫launcher吗

    就是启动器里面的菜单嘛,
    启动器里面的菜单滚动效果,比侧栏菜单的滚动效果要慢上很多

    Guys, its not about the name... Call it however you want.
    It is about the way it works.
    The scrolling effect in the launcher is slow and ugly. Please focus on fixing it if you can.

    danygee, I have exactly the same problem and I have sent a feedback but no reply. In fullscreen mode the scrolling of the launcher or menu or app drawer (whatever you call it) is very slow. It almost feels as if it's stucking.

    Hope they fix it and it should be more like how a menu is supposed to scroll like gnome or android or anything else.

    I really love deepin and would hate to leave it.

    We are optimizing the launcher, launcher need to draw the content more than  control center, we are trying our best to keep launcher also have the same smooth experience.

    Sure they do.
    Checking it is the first thing I always do before reporting any performance issues.
    And as you probably didn't memorize from my first post, I checked it on 2 totally different machines, to isolate the issue.
