Press "Ctrl+Shift+U", then press "C" and "7" (separately), then Enter.
For "ç", "Ctrl+Shift+U", "E", "7", "Enter".
A better solution is to use compose key provided by xkb. Please refer to this article: http://duncanlock.net/blog/2013/ ... xubuntu-lxde-linux/
This should be valid for all latin characters with accent.

I have a nootbook with english (usa) keyboard, but I use it in Brazil. I'm having trouble to type the Ç character. Can any one help me to configurate my keyboard so i can have this character available? I'm currently using English (US, alternative international) keyboard layout. I can use all the other characteres from brazilian portuguese except this one. Any idea would be highly appreciated. Thanks.
