    想问一下大家，平时在linux下都用什么邮箱客户端？以前邮箱轻度使用，一直用thunderbird，什么时候想起来就打开刷新一下，用完有时候就随手关掉了。最近邮件联系比较多，老是习惯查看完邮件就点×，然后一直以为在后台想不起来再打开，漏掉了好多重要的邮件。尝试了各种驻留后台的方式均无果，难道大家也是这样吗？关了thunderbird就不提醒了，工作的时候还得老想着查看邮件，不会很麻烦吗？

    现在一切web化。我一个浏览器顶一大堆客户端。在别人电脑上用完清理一下记录缓存就可以了，也很方便。

    小米手机绑定邮箱，来件提醒。需要电脑打开，就用网页版。

    thunderbird确实功能挺强大的，我现在最主要的问题就是它不能驻留后台，不知道您平时怎么用，会不会看完邮件随手关掉？新邮件来了会不会因为查看不及时错过重要邮件？

    事实上我感觉老外们用邮件可能跟我们是不一样的，我们把邮件都用成了即时聊天工具。。。。我原来也觉得邮件挺方便的，至少我啥时候有时间啥时候回复你就行，问题是身边的人大家都快把邮件当成即时聊天工具了，重要不重要的都邮件交互，搞得自己很头疼。。。

    推荐两个插件，
    1、FireTray：托盘图标工具
    2、Thunderbird Conversations：会话整合
    我就这两个插件，其他啥都没装。

    有了这些自定义扩展，邮箱客户端才显得比网页版好用。thunderbird和firefox的亮点。

    * 启动和运行速度快；
    * 对中文的支持非常好，不会出现乱码。
    * 图形界面，自带中文菜单；

    推荐。

    打开Thunderbird，工具→附加组件→左边“获取附加组件”→右边“了解更多”
    然后你就可以在打开的新界面中搜索了。

    谢谢啦，我以前在安装的时候firefox一直显示版本不匹配，我一直都没安装，今天我偶然发现，可以不管它的提示直接安装。。。。
