I'm using Windows 8.1 with GPT partition and UEFI bios.
Installing the Deepin 15.5 using Deepin System Installer v1.2.
It works great after I installed it with the Windows installer to my C partition using 20GB space.
And disable fast startup mode in power settings and disable safe boot in the BIOS as suggested.
After using it for a day, I decided to extend it to much bigger partition as the distro took about 10GB plus extra 7GB free space.
So the easiest way is just to uninstall and reinstall it back from Windows as I'm not changing anything much.
Unfortunately, I got this error when I try to reinstall it back and it asking for MBR disk. (see attached image)
"lease ensure that there is at least one MBR disk having more than 10GB free space."
I've tried to retrace my installation like before by enabling the fast startup mode and safe boot again but still getting this error.
I also tried to fix the mbr boot using windows recovery mode and delete the grub menu options from bios.
Any suggestion how to overcome this so it can detect the partition back? Thanks in advance.
