Hey bro.If you don't use the touchpad, you can disable it in the BIOS. But you want to use the touchpad, I can only say I'm sorry, I use a desktop computer, but there is always a solution!

Couldn't find synaptics properties. No synaptics driver loaded?

It's weird, because has two drivers installed on the system:

xserver-xorg-input-libinput
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics

So Bowen, I openned the xconf but I don't find nothing related to synaptics.

Here is the directory that I locate the file ¨xconf¨ >>> /usr/lib/X11/xedit/lisp/progmodes/

Well, after many tries the touchpad worked. It was simple, however, a bit tricky since I had to upgrade the kernel to the latest version of Ubuntu (Kernel: x86_64 Linux 4.14.7-041407-generic).

Thank you all for your contributions, bye!
