I have this problem too.
Thin font in Dock in keyboard indicator.
In Chrome font on sites (not all) are blurred. In Firefox fonts with no smoothing.
I think the system font became smaller.

Confirming, especially about fonts. They are too thin, lookin ugly. It looks like antialiasing disappeared in browser, layout indicator and several other apps

That's an screenshot of a part of the Yandex homepage, right?
I configured the fonts myself as I'm running Deepin desktop environment on Arch Linux at this computer.
Looks good here with Droid Sans 12pt
Try if that works for you: sudo apt-get install ttf-droid
If yes,you can now set Droid Sans as default font at control center.
I have Yandex Browser and had to set the font in the settings, too.
Don't know which one you are using but I think most browsers want extra configuration for fonts and don't use system default.

Yes, this is Yandex homepage, but I am using Mozilla Firefox and Droid Sans is already installed in Deepin.
Nothing changed after switching to it.

I've tried it in Firefox now.
It works well there,too.
Check on about:preferences if the font is set to Droid Sans there, too.
It does NOT automatically use the system default.
I tested it with Firefox 58.
If you have anything pre-57,please update it.
The old rendering engine is very buggy so I wouldn't wonder if you had such problems there but the new is great.

I found a solution for that , it worked for me.

first step
  1. mkdir -p $HOME/.config/fontconfig/
  2. gedit $HOME/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf
Copy the Code

after the first step , inside the file created copy this:

  1.
  2.    rgb
  3.

  4.
  5.    true
  6.

  7.
  8.    hintslight
  9.

  10.
  11.    true
  12.

  13.
  14.
  15.       lcddefault
  16.
  17.
Copy the Code
