Problems installing Deepin 15.4.1

hi, im new to the linux world but i just loved deepin and wouldnt wanna start with any other distro. im trying to install deepin on my Acer laptop, windows 10, 64 bit. i used unetbooting and a USB flash stick to boot but somehow it stops after i click install deepin, screen just stays with that night sky look and does not go forward. second time i used rufu instead of unetbooting but still no luck. i only go as far as the point in boot where i select install deepin

you need to use nomodeset while loading deepin.

when the Deepin screen saver appears press 'e', then opened window with grub-code, find find the line 'Linux' and in the end add 'nomodeset' option,then click F10.

It's work for me.

Could you provide the detailed info of your device(Acer TravelMate P2)? Like cpu, etc?

hi, look at BIOS boot security check disable and then check if bios has other operating systems option

thanks @pleomaxx, still not exactly sure where on the code to put the nomodeset, been trying different places but no luck yet. but in a way u helped me coz when i now search nomodeset people r giving me ideas of how i could use it, someone just suggested i replace 'quiet splash' with 'nomodeset' which i'll try next, and update u all

Intel HD Graphics 5500(its an Acer F5-571-320G, and im trying dual boot with Windows 10) and it doesn't give me the option to use CD. the option is just not there, unless i can change it in settings

1. Please burn deepin linux ISO with system-installer.exe program included in ISO file.
2. If your laptop supports Intel Fast Storage(soft RAID), switch it off first and set disk mode to AHCI.
3. If anything goes wrong during installation, press Ctrl+L to see installation log output,
Please take a few pictures and upload here.
