Deepin has a Java Development Kit called openjdk.If it doesn't work with your apps,try 'sudo apt update;sudo apt autoremove openjdk-9-*;sudo apt install openjdk-8-jdk' for java8.Some apps doesn't work with openjdk-9-jre (java 9).For example,eclipse,aptana,burpsuite,hmcl don't work with openjdk-9-jre,but they can work with openjdk-8-jre.So I don't think you need sun java.
