    why is it that when i try to move files, deepin ends up copying files instead?

    why not use keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+X for cutting and Ctrl+C for copying instead

    How did you move files? Drag and drop or cut and paste should work in general.

    One of the reasons you can't move a file but can copy it is that you don't have the permission to change its parent directory but have the permission to read it.

    i dragged it. is there anyway for deepin to just give permission to change parent directory in the future? i think that earlier versions of deepin allowed me to just drag and move
