    Why buy if you can get it for free?
    There's also an open source program called Wine which does the same thing.
    It has some compatibility problems sometimes but I think that Crossover has some too.
    You can download it here: http://www.winehq.org
    Please note that windows programs won't run as fast as native linux programs but directly on windows they're slow too
