As the title suggests I am having trouble with my wi-fi internet. I know it is WiFi because I have tried wired, and I had no problems whatsoever. I can enjoy my internet to the fullest with the wired connection. However, when I switch to wireless, internet speed and/or download speed goes up and downs.

By the way, this was not the first problem I had with the wireless connection. When I first installed Deepin, I could not connect at all. Then I did what was told in this link https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2335628 and it worked. Yet, the problem with speed remains.

I would really appreciate if you could help me. Thank you very much.

I have a Dell Inspiron 14N 4030 and also with the same issue, this is so annoying. I'm already start thinking in change of the OS, BunsenLabs or Fedora, maybe Debian as well

OK, I did quit on Deepin and had used Solus for a while. No problem whatsoever on Solus. Now I came back (because I missed Deepin) and the problem persists, in fact, it is even worse. Speed still fluctuates, and what is more, it does not even hit the top available speed. Now not only there are ups and downs in speed, but also it is slower than what it is supposed to be. My connection is 8 Mbps and I only get 6 Mbps connection.

If this is not crying out for help, then what is?

Here is the feedback log. It looks like it happens on HP laptops. And as it was pointed out by someone else, it might be related to Kernel or drivers. But who knows, right?

Along with speed fluctuations there are also ping spikes. I took the screen-shot of a ping test.
Whi ...

Same here, my normal ping is around 40 to the game servers, but it bumps up to 300, completely destroys any gaming experience. Have you found any solution?Wi-Fi is running with Asus USB-n53;
There is info on ubuntu forums, that this is a problem with network-manager scans AP, and fixed by replacing it with wicd, but I'm pretty sure that this solution is not compatible with Deepin.
