It would be great if there will be software update center, i am new in deepin and i found out that most of the software in the store are outdated. I hope the next release will include that and i really love deepin after trying lots of distros. Great job for the developers and keep it rollin!

I use the Deepin Desktop on Arch Linux so I don't have the Deepin Store.
There is the program PackageKit which allows to install and update software.
This program uses the official software repositories.
You could try if it works on the Deepin OS too.
It should update the software directly from Debians repositories for you as Deepin is based on Debian Unstable.

This is the only thing keeping Deepin down right now, the software is really outdated and in all my attempts to update form Debian repos instead, in the long run it causes issues with the OS, if they just keep the software center just a bit more current this OS would rock the world, i mean it is already as it is. Right now firefox is still on version 52 (really???) and kodi 17.0, and every single application is at least 2 versions behind. i hope they are listening.

We have already known this issue and will work hard to figure out a way to solve that.
Currently there is no good idea and we update applications manually.
We will follow the version update more frequently.
