run deepin-movie in terminal and paste the output when playing the video.
maybe something wrong with hardware decode, what't your graphic card and cpu?
sudo apt-get install vainfo

Nvidia is my graphics card, but Deepin does not even detect it. I have already installed nor how many times the nvidia drivers following tutorials here and there, but without any luck. I use bomi instead, bomi is a easy and lite player, and better than deepin movie now, maybe you wanna try it, just download the deb package from
https://launchpad.net/~darklin20/+archive/ubuntu/bomi
then dpkg -i install it, it should work perfect
