    Is there any way I can change the system icons on the dock and remove ones I don't want or change the icon images?

    Didn't quite do what I need. I see it helps with a great many things, but the dock itself seems picky and offers no way to remove system icons.

    If you want change icons or delete some of them from dash... they are located user/share/applications. Take a look there, it might help.
