Hello! I am currently trying to put the deepin 15.2 iso on my pny 128 gb usb 3.0 flash drive. So I can load it onto my acer aspire r5 laptop (which is very new). Now the computer that I am using to download and install the iso is running windows 7. I installed the 64 bit version of the iso because that's what both computers run. When I go inot the Deepin offical boot maker, I select the iso image and flashdrive. After it runs for a while (to about 90%) it says "failed to make" "Failed to unzip the mirror file, please use the whole mirror file." then it gives me the opportunity to look at the log files. I don't know what to do or what the problem is. This iso image isn't corrupted or anything like that. Please if you have any idea leave a comment below! Thank you!

Hello,

I would recommend you to try with the new version, the 15.3 is already official. Maybe the new ISO won't give an issue.

If you have DriveDroid you may mount the .iso as a CD and boot from that

Yes after posting this thread, I went back and retried 15.3, I got the same thing though so that wasn't the problem. Thank you for the response!

I don't understand what that will do for me besides loading the iso image from my phone. Iv'e tried other third party applications such as Unetbootin, rufus, Windows bootable image etc.

It will allow you to mount the ISO and then install the OS?

There is no need to make a boot USB, or you can just write the ISO to the USB as a raw image
