I've tried to install pinta on Deepin, but every time I try to add the repository via ppa I get the error:
"aptsources.distro.NoDistroTemplateException: Error: could not find a distribution template for Deepin/jessie"

and also I've tried to install it by downloading the .tar file from the webpage of pinta, but when I click the .tar file it opens GDebi and it shows the message: "pinta-1.6.tar.gz is not a Debian package. The MIME type of this file is <> and it couldn't be installed on this system"

Is there a solution for this? or maybe an alternative to pinta for Deepin?

As far I know it works with apt-get too, I use both.

I see now that my problem was with the repositories, I was trying to add the repository for pinta when pinta was already in the repositories of Deepin
