Hello. one way to reinstall grub is to install the synaptic package manager (sudo apt-get install synaptic). After install, it will show up as one of your apps. Open it and scroll to grub within the installed apps and there you will have the option to reinstall grub. I believe the grub package you want to reinstall is " grub-pc". This has worked for me.

I was running Windows 10 and it suddenly crashed. And what i see after reboot was shocking: GRUB has gone, there's only GRUB rescue. In normal case i would create a live USB from the distro's iso and chroot to the installed system to reinstall GRUB, but Deepin doesn't have a live system. What can i do? Can i reinstall GRUB from another debian-based distro (eg. GParted Live)?
