Acestream - this is complete shit, which is very difficult to establish not only in Deepin (Debian, Ubuntu)...

I think I'll just waive, and yes, Acestream, it is complete shit.

I can send you the installation instructions, but I think it is not worth it. There are many other applications that deserve attention...

You are absolutely right, there are many better applications (a digression: Deepin Store is simply fabolous, the best since I use computer).
In any case, I would like that you send me installation instructions.

No of course! It was a joke!
Install the package
libgnutls-deb0-28_3.3.15-5ubuntu2_amd64.deb  here: http://packages.ubuntu.com/wily/amd64/libgnutls-deb0-28/download
Install the package
acestream-player-compat_3.0.2-1.1_amd64.deb; acestream-engine_3.0.3-0.2_amd64.deb; acestream-player-data_3.0.2-1.1_amd64.deb; acestream-player_3.0.2-1.1_amd64.deb

here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B7AdLMiZn4FzQ1hLZWxaQ19YY2c&usp=drive_web#list

Next, run the following commands:
echo 'deb http://repo.acestream.org/ubuntu/ trusty main' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/acestream.list
sudo wget -O - http://repo.acestream.org/keys/acestream.public.key | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install acestream-full

After installation, you must include Ace Stream P2P Multimedia Plug-in. To do this, open Add-ons for Firefox - Plugins - Ace Stream P2P Multimedia Plug-in and activate the option - Always include

And the last. Restart Firefox and you can watch streaming TV: http://torrent-tv.ru/torrent-online.php?translation=7662

Good Luck!)

Ahah. In this, my average irony comprehension: Sheldon Cooper!

Thanks for the instructions! I will prove now!

Why do people think that Acestream is shit?  I've got it installed on Mint 17.3 and I think it great!  What other P2P app is there?  I know about Sopcast, but that is pretty much limited to Windoze & IE users.

btw, I also tried & failed to build Acestream for Deepin - missing libraries.

No one made a normal installer, which allows all of the dependencies. That's why this app is shit ...

That doesn't make sense. Most Linux apps don't include each & every dependency in their installation package.  It is up to the Debian repository managers to ensure that these packages are available (as they are in Ubuntu repositories), not the Acestream developers. Once available, it's easy-peezy to get Acestream built.

And again, in use, Acestream performs great - which is how (imo) an app should be rated.
