I installed Vuze from the Deepin Repositories, but for me it doesn't seem to want to work, just a white screen frozen, never does anything.

It seems it's looking for java, I tried

sudo apt-get install default-jre

but that keeps giving me dependency issues,

any help with this?

Remove everything related to the vuze and set via the app store...or just: sudo apt install vuze

weird, I used
sudo apt-get remove vuze

Try it:
sudo apt-get purge vuze
sudo apt-get autoremove
but better using "synaptic"

I tired these, still there, even synaptic marked it as uninstalled, but still there

I've got it: package "azureus" is still there,

shouldn't that have been removed along with vuze?

yeah, forgot to mention I did that, then reinstalled vuze and it works now, thanks!

I've got a different problem with VLC now, I've made a new thread for that.
