I am using Deepin 15.2 with my laptop which I bought from System 76, the battery meter on the bottom panel doesn't show any update of charging or dischargin status. I need to use command line "acpi -i " or "upower -i /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/battery_BAT0" to check the battery status.  Is anyone there can help to fix this problem? Thanks.

Problem solved by itself. This is a battery which has not been used  for a long time. After a couple of charging and discharging cycles, the battery indicator starts to show battery capacity percentage.

great! It's just what I was going to say: check your battery life.
So, if resolved, mark the post as SOLVED.

Greetings!

I thought the problem was solved after a couple charging/discharging cycle, but it is not true. The battery indicator is showing the same percentage since you log in, and it never updates it no matter of charging or discharging.  Everyone there knows how to fix it.
