Introduction
Community Management is primarily to provide strong technical support for deepin project. It mainly has the following roles:
Forum Moderator: Responsible for the routine management of deepin forum and generally occupied by community members and official staff.
Mailing List Administrator: Responsible for the routine management of the mailing list and generally occupied by community members and official staff.
IRC Administrator: Responsible for the routine management of IRC channels and generally occupied by community members and official staff.
Official Coordinator: Responsible for coordinating community management work globally and occupied by official team staff.
It cannot be said which role is better or worse among the above four roles. In what identity you will be involved in the community management work finally depends on your own abilities entirely. deepin Community Management Team is expecting you to join!
Duties
Community management work is mainly on managing forum, mailing list and IRC, and the routine work is as follows:
To give answers to the questions raised by community users every day.
To manage the community and remove the inappropriate content in time.
To guide people to create an atmosphere of “Freedom, Openness, Sharing, Cooperation” in the community.
To communicate with the official team and plan community events to enhance community atmosphere.
Participation

At present, the community management project is mainly carried out in the following sections:
Support
The smooth flow of information is the key to community management work to be carried out successfully and effectively. You can choose from the following channels to obtain information and get in touch with deepin official team:
To get the latest developed achievements of deepin system and software as early as possible.
To obtain the latest development plans and progress of deepin project in advance.
To have special group member identity and richer forum features.
To be on deepin contributors list.
Outstanding members will get a souvenir from deepin.
Assessment
Having sufficient free time.
Being familiar with Linux system and being able to solve common problems.
Having certain abilities in planning events and calling on people.
Being friendly, patient and careful in work.
When your application is not passed, there must be an interval of 15 days between your first application and your second application if you want to apply again.
