2015-05-18 07:22 deepin could you boot your machine and just do an uname -a If the kernel version is the wrrong one than you had to reinstall your kernel. if not we will digg in deeper.

but, u can try this.. (I do this >.<)
install nm-applet.., (for it, I install it via chroot on my other linux).
try to run "sudo NetworkManager" (case on) in terminal..
and "sudo nm-applet".., u can see new connection manager in tray..,
OR, you can use wicd (you have to run "sudo NetworkManager" before) {:4_117:}

2015-05-29 07:05 deepin Do you try to update the system in the older kernel? I updated Deepin in old kernel first, then used the new kernel. The wifi works.

I have been using my laptop, for about 2 days, and then rebooted, and since then I have no networks. In the control center I can only see the proxy settings, looks like it does not recognize my network card?
Odd thing is, when I boot into an older kernel, everything works fine.
The kernel, that doesn't work: 3.16.0-33-generic
The one I'm currently on, and works fine: 3.13.0-48-generic
Not sure what changed before that reboot, but I can't get it to work.
I'd appreciate any help!
More info about the machine:
Dell Vostro 5470, with i5 cpu, and 8gigs of ram.
