Hello. Recently we have received many non-native Chinese users’ feedback: The keyboard layout can not be changed in Deepin 2014.1.
Currently all developers in Deepin Team are Chinese, so we cannot test this problem. Now we hope our friends who use languages except Chinese can help us check the problem of keyboard layout in Deepin 2014.1.
The testing method is very simple: Go to Control Center—Keyboard and Language, to set the keyboard layout into the one that you need. If you find the particular words cannot be typed in this keyboard layout, please execute the following command in the terminal:
setxkbmap -query
Copy the Code
Then add your comments by copying the terminal output and providing some of the help information on the keyboard layout, under this post collectively. We’ll follow up as soon as possible so as to solve this problem. Thank you!
