Introduction
Wine Runner is a program designed to help Linux users easily run Windows applications. The original version of Wine requires command-line operations, and its installation process is quite complex, making it unfriendly for beginners. This runner addresses these pain points by providing graphical support for Wine, a Wine installer, a mini app store, various Wine tools, a custom Wine program packager, a runtime library installation tool, and more.
It also includes a Windows virtual machine installation tool based on Qemu/VirtualBox, designed for beginners. Users only need to download the system image and click to install, without worrying about the installation, creation, or partitioning of the virtual machine. This tool can even install x86 versions of the Windows operating system on non-x86 architectures (though performance is lower, and it's more suitable for running older systems).
For Wine application developers, it offers a graphical packaging tool, as well as various tools and methods to install necessary runtime libraries. It also supports installing multiple versions of Wine for testing purposes, greatly improving compatibility adaptation efficiency.
Additionally, special optimizations have been made for Deepin 23 users, allowing them to run Wine32 even without i386 libraries. For non-x86 architecture users, it provides installation methods for Box86/64 and Qemu User.
