Can't reproduce.
I have paired Bluetooth speakers and different headphones and headsets and everything works fine. As a matter of fact almost always it automatically toogles to the BT device after it being turned on. In the rare occosions it didn't the BT could be selected, no problem.

How to create shortcut like in Windows? 
After connecting the Bluetooth headphones, you cannot select them to listen to. Only after logging out can you select a Bluetooth handset or speakers.
