Well, it depends. DeepinOS shapes several softwares that a Chinese may use everyday no matter for work or at home to Linux via a customized wine. Although other distros can also manage to have them installed, DeepinOS offers an out-of-box experience specifically for Chinese users as well as an amazing look. So yes, it is popular in China. But you see, DeepinOS is not that stable. Many Chinese Linux users end up using other distros like ubuntu and manjaro, but still keep an eye on Deepin's development (yes, so am I).

I've been using the Deepin Desktop on Arch for some time and I'm really enjoying it. Sadly DeepinOS gave me some trouble which is why I couldn't use it much.
I've been wondering with Deepin being a Chinese Linux distro, how popular is it in its home country? I know that Linux is still pretty unpopular in China compared to Windows. But among Linux distros, how does Deepin stack up?
