It's false!. it's not easy to use. First thing I notice is the beautiful graphical interface but that's it for the OS.
I tried Chrome to use Netflix but nope.... widevinecdm is missing and it's not in pluging. Tried to install Firefox but it's only in Chinese and cannot change the language. Firefox ESR i can enable the DRM but still can't play the video...worst part is that nice software manager doesn't have any capability to remove apps? like really. None of the web browser available from the package manager can play Netflix or Prime video.
Ubuntu 19.10 you can install it and right away you have nothing to do and Netflix and/or Prime Video will work.
Since this is based of Ubuntu, how come it doesn't work right away. Is there a package missing.
This should be taken seriously. We have one frustrated user, and rightly so. So let's work to improve those things instead of being offended. He is pointing out real issues that should be addressed..

I apologize, my first post was a raw.
Yes, i can use Ubuntu or Xubuntu and I will have everything working but the graphical of Deepin is so much nice!
This OS a lot of potential I think. That widevinecdm plugin is probably something minor but for a lot of users it can make a big difference and for Firefox , there probably packages that can be add so that it picked the proper language.
Other than those video coding issue, the rest I have played with was great, I found the OS very snappy (respond fast).
I use a lot of NETFLIX and Prime Video. I want an OS that I could use to get rid of Windows 10 and that my daughter can use easily (She watch prime video too).
That one would be what I need if there was a way to get those plugin working

Deepin is not focused on updates anymore until the new release, kinda sucks. I like Deepin but all programs are out of date which means lots of time installing from other sources.
