With a fresh install of Deepin 15.11, I discovered that I could not remote-desktop using Remmina, or even ping other Linux pc's on my local network when using just their hostnames. This can be resolved by installing;
sudo apt-get install libnss-mdns
Copy the Code
and terminating the pc name you're trying to connect to, with '.local' - ie. 'remotelinuxpc.local'
