I like the Deepin Windows menu look but there is an issue instead of when you open the menu it showing all the Programs on your computer make it show only the programs you favorite instead and then still have the option to see the categories. So make it show favorites first then show categories for the second part. Make it more like the Windows 7 menu and how it operates.  See my image

Thanks, I think improving the Windows style menu to be more like Windows 7 would make people use this mode more. I also think Deepin needs to improve on NVIDIA  driver support as it is horrible. I just bought an intel desktop to run Deepin because I'm sure it will work better without screen tearing. I use MacOS Mojave and I would love to have Deepin as my main OS because you get the feel of both Windows or MacOS which I love! Deepin DE is the future of Linux in my opinion simplistic and super user friendly. The other thing needing improvement is the App Store it has too many outdated programs which is sad because i have to manually install the programs instead of using the best App Store of any distros.

I agree and feel exactly like you, it's best of all os-worlds design)

On Nvidia drivers / newer software you can use Manjaro Deepin (https://manjaro.org/download/deepin/) which offers cutting edge software, Kernel management (include LTS, RT or latest Kerneles), video driver management (you can use either latest or specific version of nvidia drivers both proprietary / free drivers).

Or Ant's Arch Deepin (https://antechdesigns.000webhostapp.com/) which is very light & vanilla, bleeding edge software / Kernel / drivers (means everything is full-on latest versions, probably less stable)

Other option would be Fedora Deepin (they officially support Deepin DE now but it's started from Fedora 30, right now it's in beta phase)

Also please check my Feature requests, i feel that you'll like them.

Check github links in the comments of this thread, you can support it on github if you like, more people will find it interesting - faster / more chance it will get implemented
