New to snap.

Installed it on my Deepin 15.8 system form terminal using sudo apt install snapd.

Attempted to install two simple games.  Both seem to download and install fine via terminal.

Launching them from Launcher does nothing for Solitaire and Pixel Dungeon.  Launcher just closes but neither games runs.

New to snap so maybe it is me.

Anyone else having success with Snap packages?

Heck I just tried the Brave app from the procedure in this blog post and although I can click its new icon from launcher, the little deepin ball pops up but then disappears after 10 seconds or so.

So strike 3.  Non of these 3 work for me.

Did you reboot the pc after installing them? As personal experience (in every system), I prefer flatpaks and appimages, something I dislike from snaps, is that they literally re-install themselves when updating.

And, you can install Brave and more apps (updated), with the extra repository from the page you mentioned. It installs easily with the .deb file, and I use it to have Firefox's last version.
