Hi to all,

Trying to access my Samsung S9+ so that I can transfer a movie to my laptop. Reading around, it seems I need to change something to give it access? And no, not talking about granting and allow access from the phone itself. Any help is appreciated!

You can just install nemo, file manager from Cinnamon, and use it without all this sharing
There are problems with connection only in Deepin file manager
By the way, developers know about this bug, but they just don't have samsung's devices

  1. sudo apt-get install nemo
Copy the Code

Installed Nemo but still failed. It recognizes the Samsung Galaxy S9+ but still says, "Unable to mount Samsung Android". Unable to open MTP device [usb:002,007]"

if you still cant connect use a app from the playstore called WiFi File Explorer after you install that on your phone you can connect to your phone from a browser.
there are many WiFi File Explorer apps but i like this one...
