Problem with apt-get update slow

I used the command sudo apt-get update, or sudo apt-get upgrade and it downloads very slow even I had changed the mirror for one in my country in the GUI and in the sourcelist but some packages are only found on the original mirror.
What can a do to solve this problem, i've tried 2 mirror in my country (Brazil) and I can only find the packages on slow mirrors.

Since the last updates some thirdparty mirrors have been broken.
I think that will recover automatically soon.
All mirrors sync their content from the slow official servers.
Probably they synced while the packages on the official servers were changing.
When the mirrors sync the next time,they should have the correct,updated packages.

Today I tryed apt-get update and now it's working fine.
