    i have not been able to get my printer working , both my printer and my scanner have work in all the earlier version of deepin, but  all i get now from from the trouble shooter page is : ' no pages found ' ; i have search but no luck ; is a brother printer and it is known for brother to put the drivers in the wrong place , at least for the scanner "  https://sites.google.com/site/easylinuxtipsproject/15 " ; so i'm wondering if the library files for the printer change in 15.5 , so i need to make sure in which directory my printer and scanner drivers should be , if some one can help i would be very greatfull , i know is not easy because even the folks at " deepin user feedback " did not even answer ; please note i have install this drivers many times they have work i deepin , ubuntu , and mint .

    can't reproduce in my environment, have you installed both LPR printer driver and CUPSwrapper printer driver?
    maybe we need more info to figure out what's going on.
    cups log file is "/var/log/cups/error_log", you can also change the line to "LogLevel debug2" in file  "/etc/cups/cupsd.conf" to get complete info.
    then run 'sudo systemctl restart cups.service', print some file, and post log file here

    i had to open  the file with the terminal , and it gave this errors
