    hi guys

    iam new to linux world i installed ubuntu about three

    days ago but when i saw deepin i fall in love with the UI

    but i am facing a problem

    all the day and i am trying to install firefox quantum

    but i didnt made it i tried a lot of taturials youtube anf websites

    i dont know if i am stupid or its just because its my first days with linux

    so i came to you guys i installed firefox from the deepin store

    but its the old versio

    any step by step how to instal the new quantun

    i know nothing about terminal stuff

    i tried to download firefox quantum as a dep version so i can just click

    install and thats all but it deosnt work??

    problem solved i don't know how i did it
    but now i can launch firefox from the dock
    i don't know why the icon is green
    its like without icon

    Hi! Friend

    you can add debian unstable source to /etc/apt/apt.source.list,
    eg:
    1. deb http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian sid main
    Copy the Code

    after:

    2. sudo apt remove firefox* --purge  
    3. sudo apt update
    4. sudo apt install firefox
    Copy the Code


    Done. Enjoy it!

    And firefox quantum will updated in deepin store soon.

    you can download the newest firefox on the firefox officalwebsit.
    and you'd better create a firefox's shortcut to the starter ( you can find the way on the wiki )

    if you do this , in the system there are 2 firefox. but never mind . you can use your firefox,and its can update by itself
