In the terminal, execute the code

  1. sudo apt-get install xcb libxcb-composite0 libxcb-dri2-0 libxcb-dri3-0 libxcb-glx0 libxcb-icccm4 libxcb-image0 libxcb-keysyms1 libxcb-present0 libxcb-randr0 libxcb-render-util0 libxcb-render0 libxcb-render0-dev libxcb-shape0 libxcb-shm0 libxcb-shm0-dev libxcb-sync1 libxcb-util0 libxcb-xfixes0 libxcb-xkb1 libxcb-xv0 libxcb1 libxcb1-dev
Copy the Code
Download the .deb package from the official Viber website.

(specify the path to your .deb package)
  1. sudo dpkg -i viber.deb
Copy the Code
If an error occurs during the installation, then run
  1. sudo apt-get install -f viber.deb
Copy the Code

Thank you very much for that.
I didn't know Viber and I don't need it on my computer.
But I'm searching for Whatsapp alternatives because they will end Blackberry OS 10 support at the end of this year.
I didn't find anything which could be liked by everyone before but Viber looks really good.
They also provide an native Blackberry app,not just an ported Android app which run all a bit buggy.
That's what I've searched for,I will definitely try that.
