Thanks jingle for the quick reply. I need to install php5-imagick not php-imagick to work with our system. php-imagick is already installed.
Unless I'm wrong and there is a way to get php-imagick with my apache. I'm tying to get rid of the error Fatal error: Class 'Imagick' not found in /home

php5-imagick is out of date. The package now known as  php-imagick( 3.4.3~rc2-2  for php7)

Not chinglish here. He/she simply omit the subject "I". It is grammatically correct, though sounds a little bit strange.

So a fresh install of Deepin would be unable to install php5-imagick, even though its a package? What are the steps to install it manually so that my apache server runs it?
