    My laptop hung for some reason and waiting didn't help. So, I had to pull the power plug.

    Now, when I boot up, I am locked out and boot won't complete. Installed ubuntu for now. I am afraid I can't repeat the whole installation if same happens again, so not sure whether to install Deepin again. DOn't get me wrong. I want to install right away but for the fear of being locked out.

    Any help to solve the issue will be greatly appreciated.

    Perhaps this hard reboot caused damages in system partition.
    Next time when you encounter this kind of problem, please try to boot with LIVE system (e.g. USB stick) and run fsck for your system partition.
