Hi all,

I have Deepin 15.3 x64 installed and STN-13 Blutooth headphones. Deepin found it and could connect to it, but there was no sound. I started my favorite music player but the music came from the speakers instead of the headphones. There was a 'Handsfree' option under Advanced settings under Audio, but the system got muted after selecting it instead of playing music on the headphones. There's nothing wrong with the headphones, they work perfectly with my old (Nokia C2-01) mobile phone. So how can I use Deepin with the Bluetooth headphones?

First of all, try ALL outputs separately and check if there is really none that outputs sound. If you still have the problem, then you have to install
  1. gnome-alsamixer
Copy the Code
then run
  1. alsamixer
Copy the Code
in your terminal and press F6 on your keyboard to select your bluetooth headphones. Then pump up the PCM and other slider (if available) a little. Then you check ALL sound device outputs each for sound output individiually, again.

It didn't show up in alsamixer, so I've checked it in PulseAduio Volume Controller (or whatever it's English name), but it was still not at the output devices tab. So i click through all tabs and found it under Settings. It's value was Off. After changing it to High Fidelity Playback (A2DP Sink), it started to show up under Output devices and now it's working. ALSA Mixer only shows my audio card(s) (ATI R6xx HDMI and Conexant CX20751/2).

Anyway, thanks for helping.

The things you mentioned are outputs and it shows outputs. But I don't exactly understand what you had to do in settings.
