When transferring files over my wireless network with Deepin, I have a rock-steady connection speed, but it's only 350-380kB/s.  When I boot the same pc from my Win7 partition, transferring files over the network is done at 1.6-1.8MB/s - that's 4 - 5 times faster!!!  Deepin seems to be limiting the download transfer speed to this snails-pace for some reason.

Has anyone else experienced this, and more importantly, found a solution?

For the record, this problem is caused by yet-another ath-9k driver 'regression'.  It's NIC-specific, affecting the Atheros AR928x, whereas my other Atheros AR5008 card is not affected.  Basically, the offender is being limited to 11Mb/s, and I'm unable to change its bitrate manually with either iwconfig or iw.  It's a 'regression' 'cos the card worked perfectly with the ancient Ubuntu 10.04 in the past.  Needless to say, my 2 other Intel NIC's work perfectly.

Easy fix, if swapping out the card can be called a fix - and you have multiple cards to try!
