When i try to install some dependencies of wine (the libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-0:i386 and the libgstreamer1.0-0:i386 packages) it tries to remove all the deepin packages (the output is shown here). I tried to install wine with the help of this site. I've also read about using CrossOver, but that 14 day trial is not what i want and i also don't want to buy it (that $39.95 is too much) if i can use another software with almost the same functionality, but for free and forever (not for just 2 weeks). So is there a way to install wine (and NOT CrossOver)?

On my test computer I tired your method of uninstalling crossover first then installing wine and mono-runtime

It worked with no problem and no dependency issues

No, not yet. But i found something really strange: I could install PlayOnLinux, but now it has one dependency issue: curl. And curl depends on libcurl3-gnutls (version 7.46.0-1) but only version 7.46.0-1+b1 can be installed (which is the current version). But the strangest thing is that when i last installed it from the same source, there were no dependency issues.

PS.: One more thing. Which mirror do you use? Because i use the german mirror, so please try it out. Just to mak sure that it's not something with that mirror.

Edit: I've just installed it, but everything's the same. Neither winecfg, nor winefile is working. I've installed lots of mono stuff (like mono complete) on Ubuntu Kylin, but i've never seen something like this before. I can see that it's update ca certificates, but i dunno why. The only reply i want about it is that it's normal or not. In case of not, please explain what's wrong.

I do not use playonlinx . But it is a open-source program that some users prefer.

On a clean install of Deepin 15.1  to install and use Wine my method is to simply enter the following on a terminal

sudo apt-get install wine mono-runtime.

Please understand that, i don't want to do a clean install again, until i don't have any other chances.
Here's the output of sudo apt-get install wine mono-runtime:
  1. mono-runtime is already the newest version (4.2.1.102+dfsg2-5).
  2. wine is already the newest version (1.8-5).
Copy the Code

So everything's ok with this. I tried something else just to see what happens. I've modified /etc/apt/sources.list manually and added cdn.packages.deepin.com/deepin unstable main contrib non-free to the end of the file, updated the packages list and tried to install POL. And guess what: the same error. Strange... Really strange...
Please don't misunderstand me. I don't want to say that there's something wrong with Deepin or it's sources. I just find it strange that yesterday i was able to install something, but today I'm unable to install it again on the same system, from the same source. Or could it be something related with that Deepin is based on Debian Sid?

In all fairness to present a issue on the Deepin  forum it should be done on a standard Deepin 15.1
It does not matter that Deepin Crossover is pre installed or if you uninstall it. And I am not experiencing these bizarre claims of dependency issues. It is most likely due to something that was done on your end. I think this thread of  how to install wine as been solved. Feel free to start a new thread if you having trouble with Play On Linux

Okay thank you. One suggestion what I found helpful was to use a spare computer or Virtual Box to test things. Before you commit to a system.
