When i try to install some dependencies of wine (the libgstreamer-plugins-base1.0-0:i386 and the libgstreamer1.0-0:i386 packages) it tries to remove all the deepin packages (the output is shown here). I tried to install wine with the help of this site. I've also read about using CrossOver, but that 14 day trial is not what i want and i also don't want to buy it (that $39.95 is too much) if i can use another software with almost the same functionality, but for free and forever (not for just 2 weeks). So is there a way to install wine (and NOT CrossOver)?

The package source seems old with dates of Nov of last year. Are you sure its not the Deepin 2014.3 ...

Yes, I'm sure ot isn't. This is the whole content of /etc/apt/sources.list:

  1. ## Generated by deepin-installer
  2. deb [by-hash=force] http://packages.deepin.com/deepin/ unstable non-free contrib main
  3. deb-src http://packages.deepin.com/deepin/ unstable main contrib non-free
Copy the Code

I had dependency problems with that, so I googled for an alternative method.

Okay good. just checking still . At this point we do not know why your getting those issues with wine.
I would suggest using Deepin User Feedback to report your problem.

Okay. I'll do it after i restored the "factory defaults" using the restore point i've created with systemback after the installation (with almost no third party sources, because systemback is not in the official repo) and still have dependency issues.

That is strange I use wine no problem and we are not seeing other members report problems in this Forum about dependency issues. The Deepin Feedback Tool can better diagnose your system information.

Okay, everything has been resetted, but i have the same problem, that caused other problems: Wine is indicated as installed, but it neither shows up nor works. And what about wine-pipelight? Is there a way to install it? Because if i add it's repo to and try to install the wine-staging-i386, i run into this problem. Also tried to compile it, but it depends on the g++ package, which depends on the g++-5 package. If i try to install it, i run into this dependency problem. Could this problem caused by the german mirror?

Crossover is nothing more than a front-end for Wine.  When Crossover is installed, Wine comes with it.  However, it seems to install it incognito, where it simply exists FOR crossover, rather than being a program that can be used and accessed by itself.   So if you want to use wine alone, you have to uninstall Crossover, which will uninstall Wine with it as a dependency, and then install Wine by itself using the normal method.

If you install PlayOnLinux which is just another front-end for Wine, it will recognize it and use it.  But if you then uninstall Crossover because you don't need it (like me), it will uninstall Wine as a dependency and POL will stop working as a result.

First I would make  sure wine is working. What do you mean does not show up ?
Second after you do have wine working then you can deal with wine staging and pipelight
and yes I do run wine , wine staging and pipelight and it works good.
There has to be some explanation why you get dependency issues.

When i open the luncher, there1s no entry for wine (eg. configure wine) and when i try to run a .exe, it opens the Archive Manager. When i click on open with... I got a list of all the installed apps, but not Wine. I absolutly unable to install wine-staging and pipelight (because it depends on wine-staging). About Crossover: i didn't know that it's not just a trial version, so i removed it after installation with Google Chrome (I hate that browser and it's forks), and now when i try to install the deepin-crossover package, i run into these dependency issues. And you are not the only one who wants to know waht causes these dependency issues, because I want to know it's reason too. I will check something. Please wait.
I removed everything from /etc/apt/sources.list.d and also uncommented the line deb-src http://packages.deepin.com/deepin unstable main contrib non-free from /etc/apt/sources.list and tried to ''switch'' mirror again and now it's stuck at updating the sources. This was my reason to comment that line. But what i wanted is to see what happens if that line is active.

...

Crossover has been removed after installing the system, and wine has been installed after it. But as it has been discribed earlier: wine does not work.

Edit: corrected 'wien' typo
