I know Deepin is a fairly new operating system, and I like it very much so far!  There are just a few suggestions that I'd like to share about the operating system that I believe would help improve it:

  • Launcher Favorites:  True, you're able to pin items to the dock, which is great for the most frequented apps.  However, I cannot fit all the apps I use daily or once every few days on the dock.  Thus, I access the launcher all the time.  The problem is that I never find myself navigating the launcher via scrolling, but by immediately typing what I need.  This in my opinion defeats the purpose of the launcher layout.  The text-search should be a last resort.  My suggestion is perhaps saving the left side, top side, or some side for a section that you can add your favorite apps to, or perhaps a slider to filter favorite apps.

  • Brightness Control in Power Options:  Allow us to set the brightness based on power options.  Perhaps I missed on where this was an option, but its a mild inconvenience to adjust my brightness based on my battery-life.  When plugged in I like it very bright, when unplugged I like to defend my battery as best as possible by putting brightness on a minimum.

  • Login Wallpaper Control:  Allow us to change our login wallpaper

  • Multitask View Hotkey: please add this snazzy multitask view functionality as a modifiably hotkey! I couldn't find it in settings, and I like it as the best task switcher

That's all I have now.  If these features are already available I apologize and would love it if someone could inform me of their location!  Thank you!

Those are some nice suggestions. I run out of room on the dock as well. I would like to be able to modify the dock further and remove some items that are not removable. You can right clock the dock to change to efficient mode that allows more items on the panel.
For the wallpaper you can right click a image and set as wallpaper. Though it would be nice do this initially from the control panel.

I currently use the efficient dock, which i like.  I may switch to classic once this gets cluttered!

From what I've been able to figure out, it seems you can only change the boot wallpaper and desktop wallpaper, however the login screen (where you enter your password) wallpaper, I can't figure out how to change.

I follow you now. I don't see a way to change the login background either. But like you say its a fairly new operating system. And it has a lot of potential.

agreed! I believe it's not too complicating to change via command line, however it would be best to make it simpler.

Seems complicated to me. Its like they combined the best of several desktops and put them together. It might be in usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/ ?

perhaps, i honestly haven't looked for a command-line solution, it's not THAT big of a deal for me.  However in the future if they add the feature to easily switch the login background, i'll gladly utilize it.

I think he is referring to this :
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mission_Control_(OS_X)

I like the approach the Depth OS is using taking the best from several desktops and making there own. And with this years version using the Qt5 toolkit a major change.
The domestic forums they have votes as to possible changes and improvements I would like to see that here in this forum too.

Please add a Live USB ISO image.
It is very important because the users try Linux distributions before installing them usually.

I noticed that the Live USB ISO image of the latest snapshot of openSUSE Tumbleweed x86_64 manages the Intel and AMD drivers successfully.
That operating system works perfectly on my two notebooks (no glitches): HP EliteBook 8470p and Asus F552EP (model X550EP).

I know that openSUSE is an indipendent distribution and that it is not a Debian based distribution, but please try to find a way to copy the management logic of the Intel and AMD drivers, because it simply works.

deepin 15 stutters on both notebooks.

Thanks in advance,
d.
