Downloaded and installed deepin 15 rc.  Installed just fine and most things run OK (Control Pane, Filem manager, Google Chrome etc).  But every time i just click on the Launcher the whole OS freezes.  The cursor still moves but nothing else will open or close.  Happens every time. Have to restart with a hard boot.  Also, if i go to top left corner, again, whole system freezes with a strange pixilated picture of the desktop.  Have to reboot again. Same with some of the items in Control Panel - screen goes black and unresponsive.
BTW I have a standard middle-of-the-road Nvidia card - should be OK I am sure.  Works with all other Linux distros and with Win 10 (dual boot).
Thi software is absolutely unusable.  So sad - I had high expectations and it is absolute rubbish.  Shame on you to relaease such poor quality O/S even if it is a release candidate

it is called a release candidate for a reason, if there is not so much bug it would have been the final version. furthermore, this is os, not software.
maybe is just that you don't have enough ram or enough number of cores, you should know that deepin requires better hardware to function properly unlike other linux.

Thanks for the replies.  As a matter of fact I have an i7 with 8 GB of ram and 2 TB HD which should be plenty .  I'll try the final version as see if that is any better.

8gb should be sufficient, your hard disk is solid state?

Well I downloaded the final edition and tried it on two different PCs.  Only thing they had in common was video cards made by nvidia.  Both installed fine and some functions in Control Panel were OK.  The rest was hopeless.  One click on Launcher and system froze.  Right click on almost anything and system froze.  Just had to click on the Calendar and same thing - froze solid.

This product is completely unusable.
