I have just installed Deepin 15 beta and noticed that i cannot install anything, so i tried to update the packages list first with the sudo apt-get update command. It tried to update the packages, but failed. Every time i tried, the result was the same: Failed to update packages list. Connection timed out. I tested my network and it was ok. Then i pinged the server (202.141.160.114) for some time. Here's the result of pinging and the output of the tracert command (i coudn't install traceroute in deepin, so i used windows).

Is there any other source or just the default (packages.deepin.com)?

Here is mine.
  1. deb [by-hash=force] http://packages.deepin.com/deepin unstable main contrib non-free
  2. #deb-src http://packages.deepin.com/deepin unstable main contrib non-free
Copy the Code

I guess there is only the official one.

This is mine:

Uncommented the deb-src line, but still nothing. Which means i have to say goodbye to Deepin for some time. Because if i update Deepin 2014.3, the settings panel will not work anymore and if i use Deepin 15 beta, i can't install anything on it, so it's useless.

Try

  1. apt-get update -o Acquire::SmartMirrors::Debug=true
Copy the Code

or just  traceroute  http://cdn.packages.deepin.com  (NOTE: it's http://cdn.packages.. not htpp://packages..)
